Implementation of Sudan section of the Egypt - Sudan transmission interconnection line and the associated high voltage Substation or Converter station based on the conclusions of the final feasibility study expected to be conducted in the near future. A 500kV interconnection line will connect the two countries.
Construction of a 500kV high voltage transmission line and associated Substation or Converter station that connects the power networks of Egypt and Sudan to facilitate trading in electricity and promote power systems stability. The project comprises the update of project studies.
