DESCRIPTION
Widening of the road from 6m to 7m with a paved shoulder to harmonise with EAC standard. The Muyinga-Gitega road is about 104 km on the RN12. This road forms part of the shortest route to the port of Dar es Salaam and carries 60% of international traffic with Burundi.
