The project aims to provide a direct transmission link between Angola and DRC, through the construction of the DRC section of the 260 km / 400 kV DRC line to Angola of the Inga-Cabinda-Pointe-Noire transmission interconnector.
The project is part of the Inga-Cabinda-Pointe Noire transmission interconnector, linking the power systems of DRC, Angola and Congo, with a transfer capacity of 600 MW. The project involves the construction of a section in DRC from Inga to the border with Angola.
