The project is a green-field dual carriageway road on new alignment traversing mainly swamps, marshland and farmland starting from the Kibuye roundabout with 4 lanes parallel to the Busega-Mityana road to interface at the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway Inter- change and then continue westwards to end in Mpigi.
Capacity improvement of the Kampala Kibuye Mpigi road to an expressway road standard with limited access.
